You can use these heavy duty tie rods in conjunction with a CST lift kit or any other manufacturers lift kit like Fabtech, Rancho, Pro Comp, Superlift, RCD etc… There are several of options to choose from when upgrading Chevy/GMC replacement tie rods. This is because the stock tie rod assemblies on these trucks are notoriously weak. CST tie rods are easier to install (no spindle or steering center link modifications required), unlike some of the Heim jointed tie rod kits you will find out there. Heim jointed tie rod replacement kits tend to change the factory pivot locations as well, where the CST Extreme Duty Tie Rod will not alter factory steering pivot locations from stock.
